If you play as pacifist, how far can you tolerate about &#34

Currently I am playing as a pacifist and I am having hard time proceeding most of the quest. It is not because of the opponents are too strong, but it is my mindset of not killing anything at all in any circumstances.

At the very beginning, I decided to not use following approach:
1) Purposely hire a follower to fight on my behalf
2) Use trap as killing machine
3) Use shout to push opponent out of cliff and fall to death

But now, I used all of them. :(

- When dueling with Mirmulnir and Sahloknir, although I did not hire those followers but I purposely let them fight on my behalf.
- During Bleak Falls Barrow quest, I have not choice but to use the trap to kill draugr overlord in order to retrieve Dragonstone.
- During The Blessing of Nature quest, I used shout to push Hagraven out of the hill and fall to death since I can't find alternative way to proceed the quest without retrieve Nettlebane.

Since then I feel upset and do not want to continue the game...well, at least that pacifist character because I am not adherence to my own decision.

If you are playing pacifist, how far can you tolerate about "killing"?

My character isn't a pacifist, but they do go to great lengths to avoid killing things that are between them and the real threat (ie. low ranking outlaws, grumpy mages upset i have broken into their lair), no collacteral damage.

Alteration is a great school in this respect; the damage mitigation spells further help to keep you safe, while also letting you disable enemies to keep THEM safe from you. Once paralysed it's trivival to nip around a corner and resume hiding - assuming you even blew your cover in the first place (Which is extremely rare). If you have midas magic installed this is even better as you can add paralysis rune and entangle to your repetoir (A paralysis landmine and a sprayable snare effect respectively, both excellent skills for kiting)

Remember if you ARE discovered, you only need to break line of sight and get properly hidden in a shadow. You will still have a fully open-eye on the sneak mode, but once the enemy reaches your last KNOWN position, if you are not there, they'll drop from "pursuit" to "searching". With paralysis it's extremely easy to get out of line of sight and find a new hiding spot.

He is the one who inspired me XD

But then again, the problems I'm facing now are those MUST-KILL-TO-PROCEED quest :(
