Health and Stamina for a Thief and Tank

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 9:51 am

I've played other Elder Scrolls Games but I'm interested in the New Levelling system and attributes.

I have two characters. One is a Nord fighter who uses a two handed sword and never uses magic. I've chosen health each time I levelled. Do combat characters need lots of stamina at higher levels. Hasn't been a problem so far

The other character is a Thief who has lots of skills (alchemy, sneak, block, pickpocket, sword, archery, block, light armour, forging) as a result shes a level 10 gimp. I have to play on a easy setting until I can toughen her up. She needs some Magicka for alchemy but not much. Health or Stamina ?

i'll answer for the warrior,hehehehe

for me health/stamina = 1/3
tips:
1. vegetables soup (tomato, potato, leek, cabage) = unlimited power atack / bash / power bash = lock the enemy
2. block perk quick reflex
3. lord stone + agent of mara = for magic resistance and increase armor rating
4. two-handed,block,heavy armor,alchemy,restoration (support),enchanting,smithing

NOTE:if you wanna play on master difficulty, try not to power levelling especially from smithing as may get leveled by the mobs very quickly...try to balance your skill for survival first

happy berserking,hehehe :D

no it's the opposite

see..you're between DPS-er and a tanker...so,imho,go for your stamina pool first and then try to manage your health..if you having doubt try 1/1 on health and stamina and balance them together...what you're trying to achieve is how to downed enemy as fast as you can,as you're blocking rating as not good as warrior with shield so as your armor rating..that's why quick reflex quite important as you might be overwhelmed by mobs at some point when they, sometimes, barging you with power attacks...

on the other hand, you've got reach...

a simple mob pattern:
1. shield warrior, will raise their shield if they detect that your in their proximity, your advantage is your reach and go for power attack and combined with standing power attack+25% damage perk
2. two-handed warrior, trick them by standing idle and you will see, they will charge you from far away..2 things;1. if they power attack, quick reflex takes places..2. if they swinging their weapon non-stop look for an opening to stagger them either with bash/power attack or unrelenting shout and then it's your turn

above is the simple pattern of how they behave,of course at some point 3 mobs will charge at you..don't panic, try to keep moving to get the best angle to attack them or to line them up so they can't flank you,and use unrelenting, that way 3 of them will stagger...and so on as you improve your skill and adapt to them..and it's very important to kill the low level mob first as they can become irritating when you try to engaged high level mob

shout : slow time, ethereal (quite handy for fighting dragon, power attack them and engage ethereal level 3,by using talos bless + talos amulet - duration 18s with cooldown 24s,meaning you can be invincible and dishing power attack and invincible again, hahaha),unrelenting or whirlwind (closing gap to engaged mages)
