Played Oblivion and loved it but just starting Skyrim on PC and am not sure it's even working. I'm in the cart - is there something I'm suppose to be doing? I'm also a little concerned because it seems a little slow, mouse doesn't really control camera, and the only key I get any response from is j for journal. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Indeed. Patience, grasshopper. It's always a little slow at the beginning, at least for me anyway. The mouse won't control anything for a while, but if it still is slow when it does you may want to increase the sensitivity; that's what I did.

If you are on pc, the game is set to use an xbox controller initially for some reason.
Turn that off in the options menu and your mouse performance should improve

yup you are in the introduction of then game. it will take a few minutes before you can really do anything.

it is all scripted just follow the storyline and you should be fine.

HINT save as soon as you enter the tower.

sometimes the tower door is closed and you cannot get back in if you miss the roof jump.
