I'm aware that one of the biggest objectives in skyrim is simply to not die horribly. Those that play on master find this to be an enjoyable challenge as do I, but while on one my characters I met that NPC "Old Orc" who stands happily in his spot waiting for a "Good Death". Said death is of course done by the players hands but it also gave me a new idea for an RP/competition that I wanted to try out and thought I'd share my ramblings with the rest of the interwebs.
Basically unlike the common rule of Not Dying Horribly the player creates an orc then the moment he/she leaves Helglen goes on a killing spree looking for his/her "good death". Every town, city, guard, NPC and most importantly those damn sacred chickens of theirs are to be slaughtered on site without thought. I mentioned the difficulty settings earlier as trying to find a Good Death on master can be achieved with relative ease. So at first I went with novice difficulty but then soon realized that everyone will be dead by teatime so I went up a notch to adept.
Starting at Riverwood I planned on going round the map anti-clockwise stopping at every town and city along the way, but I only got as far as Markarth before I was overwhelmed and got my Good Death. The rules I used were I couldn't sell/buy anything (as I had to kill the blacksmith on site) but I could hire hirelings and use whatever weapon/magic/armour combo I desired and lvl up perks.
So I give that idea to anyone wanting to try it out and see how far they can get before getting their "Good Death", although they can try it on any difficulty settings they please.
