Won't clear under my miscellaneous quests even though he gave me the bounty for killing the Dragon at Shearpoint. This should have given me 3/3 quests completed in helping the people of the Pass, but it's still at 2/3?

Anyone?

It's not just Skald but also the Jarl who replaces him at Dawnstar if you do the Imperial line. I have three stuck in my quest log now, 1 for Skald (old Jarl of Dawnstar) and 2 for Brina (new Jarl of Dawnstar).

It is a well known and often reported bug.

Will I be able to complete a third miscellaneous quest helping people ofof the Pass and become thane of Dawnstar still? Will that clear since collect the bounty didn't clear?

I have two bounties for Skald that didn't clear from my log after turn in. But, I don't think that bounties count toward helping the people anyways. You need to find someone in town and do a normal quest to count towards becoming a Jarl.

I have this bug with Skald now too. Is there any chance that this bug is preventing the Jarl of Falkreath from allowing me to advance with him? He just gives me his two lines (inexperience causing problems? and how long have you been Jarl?).

I'm trying to ignore it and just go complete other parts of my huge laundry list of quests to do but I really wanted to become thane of all the holds. I still had Falkreath, Riften and Windhelm to finish.

Just an FYI, I became thane of Dawnstar first, and completed the giant bounties second.. have same issues with journal entries not clearing..
