LOL....just now i understanded what you've said. It's better you keep it if your enchant skill is too low, because the diferrence of the effect will be like of 1/3.

A couple of punctuations once in a while doesn't hurt.

This. Unless you have a grand soul gem and quite a high enchanting level, maybe with some perks, it most probably wont be worth disenchanting.

The steel battleaxe of fiery souls is disenchantable to get a single enchant with 2 effects (fire &soul trap). It is not random loot, and it can be found in Ironbind Barrow.

also i think the fire damage is slightly lower than a pure fire damage enchantment.

It's actually a pretty svckish enchantment because the magnitude is fixed.

The magnitude is not fixed, the fire damage is. You only need 1 second of soul trap, you set the magnitude to that and now you have a fire damage enchantment with a ton of uses that even someone with novice enchanting skill can make.

When I first read the title I thought of a certain character that exclaims "Enchantment!?" every time you try to talk to him at a particular camp, in another game that I won't mention right now... :whistling:

But with what you're saying, just look for it again with you different character, and I gotta look for Ironbind Barrow now myself!
