Daggers andor Swords? : V

Heya,
So i'm wondering what is the main diff. between these two? Appart from the diff. in weight and dmg...
Cuz i'm playing as a theif/assasin ,and for melee i use Dual Swords...

Aesthetics mainly, I believe there is no damage reduction for using a dagger in your offhand as well.

I'm a thief/assassin too and i use daggers cause of the sneak tree's perk that does 15x sneak dmg from daggers only

Dagger's are more super-awesome, whereas swords are just regular-awesome.

I see ... so in general combat there's no diff. except for the weight i guess...

Daggers attack slightly faster, but deal less damage and have a shorter reach. At least, it sure seems like it when I'm getting smacked around by bandits I can't seem to hit until I switch to my swords.

I was kind of wondering the same thing when using that ^..

Seeing as i put no points into a certain 1h weapon type. I'm not sure how well i'd last toe-to-toe.

iv you have a stealth account i would use daggers. iv you are a warrior i would use swords.

swords are a bit slower then daggers but are more likely to do crits face to face melee (non back stabs) if you want really quick kills maces is the way to go every other person if an insta kill and im a full resto mage
