The Carvains were Robbed Blind

Did anyone see what happened to the Carvains?

This couple came all the way from Cyrodil to attend a wedding...

It is hilarious how they were brought low in Skyrim

even then the lady insults you real good if you try to talk. Calls you trash....

I cut her throat. The last thing you want to call a high elf is Skyrim trash. I killed her guard too so there weren't witnesses. Her hubby was dead.

IF you pickpocket the guy corvain before the dark brother hood quest where you kill vitorria vici, he has the only cyrodil brandy in the current game.

My goody-two-shoes playthough was not above following them from a distrance, wait for a bear to befall on them and arriving just a little too late to save them from their fate.

I had a very strange encounter with them. I encountered them near Winterhold. I didn't care for their attitudes, and even on my Good Battlemage character, I felt like I had to teach them some lessons in humility. I got into it with their guard, who distracted me while they fled. I start lugging after them in my heavy armor flinging firebolts at them and barely missing. They were getting close to Winterhold. The husband made it into the front gate. The wife was still lagging behind and I managed to get a firebolt in her back which got her down to half-health.....and this was in full view of the guards.

"Damn it, here comes a bounty", I thought. But, I was wrong.

The guards not only ignored my crime, but they started attacking the wife as well. She managed to start to open the gate door, but as it was opening, a guard dealt her a death blow so she collapsed in a death animation....but faded from view as she entered Winterhold. I then entered Winterhold and.....nothing. She was gone.

Also, no sign of her husband in the city as well, but I wonder what happened to the wife. Where did she go? Some kind of testing cell? Skyrim limbo? It was a freak occurence she happened to die just as she was entering the city.

Well.... In Oblivion, the Carvains were - "uppity".... Not surprising that a couple hundred years later it's even worse than that.
