I have a couple of hours before i get home to decide if i'm going to join the rebellion or the legion and i need some help from you guys to decide. I don't want any personal preferences who i should pick, but rather which sides quests are better. I prefer the fun factor and also the story factor in games, so which side would you say is better for me? Sorry if this isn't very clear but i'm writing this on my phone.

Honestly, having done both, their quest lines are eerily similar in terms of what you wind up doing.

In making a decision just base it on what limited amount you know about either. If you listen in on their conversations they're having with their second in command, you'll get some info, and also talking to them about the civil war will also enlighten you on what they feel their positions are.

If you want to get a bonus amount of education on certain elements of the civil war, do the main quest first, at least, through the Thalmor embassy part. This I think might influence your decision. If you don't plan on doing MQ though (have to do some of it at least in order to get to the Battle of Whiterun for either side), you should find sufficient enough talking to Ulfric and Tullius to make some sort of decision based on your own preferences/biases.

Stormcloacks are racist, Yes the imperion legion tried to kill you BUT the stormcloacks will have a stupid leader (forgot his name) and you have Only the most brutal hack and slash missions with that.

I will go with imperion legion, only for the quality of the quests,

Technically, it was the Stormcloaks fault you nearly got executed as you were found with them and thanks, i'm probably gonna choose the legion seeing as i am Imperial myself. Are there any different rewards/outcomes from which side you choose?

As I am a dunmer I decided to choose Ilmperial legion.

Stormcloaks:

1. They fight for the best possible cause, one that so many rebels have espoused throughout human history: freedom.

The Empire is the cowardly puppet of the Thalmor racial supremacists.

2. Missions are slightly more fun.

2 racist drunks = all stormcloaks are racist

1 imperial captain trying to murder you = all imperials are murderers.

Generalizations are fun.

Neither. Kill everyone including the Dark Brotherhood.

Stormcloak quests are more fun as you invade Whiterun and do more sieges. Invasions are more fun than defenses

That's easy , do both. Start another toon and do stormcloaks.WARNING - if you have any sense of irony whatsoever the stormclaoks will require more oleplaying than usual , I suggest roling a crazy Nord with a huge chip on his shoulder.That's what I did. Now for the irony bit , they're fighting for freedom of choice yadda yadda making a big mess of things , but it only applies to them specifically. they still won't let them thar pesky fereigners to live in their big city , they only get more obnoxious with their racist talk about everything in the world it seems. Si yeah , have a good lol and try stormcloaks too , it's quite fun if you approach it the right way.
