So lore wise it will be assumed you killed the emperor and it made me curious as to if he had a child or family member in place to take the throne?
I don't recall reading about any children or family members other than his father. What do you guys think will there be a new emperor to take the throne or will a new council be created?

Well he certainly looks old enough to have a few children. I would also imagine that if he did not have an heir, especially given his age, succession would have been a rather hot topic with all the turmoil and potential factions looking to get their man on the throne next.
