Skill book trophy

Does anyone know where a stash of skill books are? or any tips? this is turning out to be the hardest trophy/achievement to get since they seem to be moslty random and all sites ect. I check come up with nil. Anyone know of shops that sell them?

I read everybook I see but still a long way from getting the req 50...

If your on the PC; console "coc qasmoke" and read all of the books in the "All Skill Tomes" Cabinet :wink:

but if you use the console commands at all you cant earn achievements, right?

No....I had used console extensively during my first play through and got achievements.

Thanks that will help a lot. I don't think the Prima guide gave locaitons that good.

and I'm playing on PS3 so the PC won't work but good for others to know

Always double check information as well, although that site is fabulous, it is just like wiki and can be edited by embers. I haven't found anything much that has been incorrect though and have used that source for morrowind oblivion and now skyrim.

Go to the room. Save. Quit. Load the game. Achievements reenabled. Read the books and CoC back out.

If you want to get some legitimately, do the quest for the librarian at the Mages' College.

He gives you like 4 or 5 skill books as a reward
