The honeyed words of Skyrim

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 10:01 pm

I am an adventurer who has travelled all over Skyrim. I have visited lots of places and met many people. Some of the people who I spoke to, I forget who they were, what they looked like or what they said to me.

The following individuals all left an impression on me. I will always remember their honeyed words, up until the day I die;

1- "Are you my gallant hero? Have you come to whisk me away, to a life of adventure and romance?"
--------- (Erdi, Blue Palace, Solitude) ---------
2- "What was that you said? Venemous wife of mine"
--------- (Kleppr, Silver-Blood Inn, Markarth) ---------
3- "Psst. Hey, I know who you are. Hail Sithis!"
--------- (Guard, Solitude) ---------
4- "Heard about you and your honeyed words..."
--------- (Guard, Riften) ---------
5- "Why are you still standing around here? Go get me the Phial you fool!"
--------- (Nurelion, The White Phial, Windhelm) ---------
6- "Hello my love, back from some adventure I bet?"
--------- (Wife, Breezehome, Whiterun) ---------
7- "No lollygaggin'"
--------- (Guard, Whiterun) ---------
8- "I used to be an adventurer like you. Then I took an arrow in the knee"
--------- (Guard, Whiterun) ---------
9-"Let me guess......someone stole your sweetroll"
--------- (Guard, Morthal) ---------
10- "Is that... fur? Coming out of your ears?"
--------- (Guard, Solitude) ---------

Bethesda, if you update the list of marriage npc's, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, make it so that I can marry Erdi from the Blue Palace, Solitude.I want to be her gallant hero, and to whisk her away to a life of adventure and romance!

I want them to completely get rid of the guard lines. Uggh. It's what irritates me the most in the game. After 400+ hrs, it just wears on you.

Uh, if anything is wearing on you, it's probably the 400+ hours.

the repeated merchant/guard lines are kind of annoying. i would rather each npc get 1-2 unique lines rather than them sharing the same 12 lines.

LOL I hear ya. I think one of these days I'll go on a rampage and shoot arrows in all of the guard's knees. Then they have REALLY something to complain about! hahahahaha

But yea, I really like the line my current traveling companion uses:

Belrand: I admire your courage. Most people in Skyrim wouldn't set foot in a place like this. :)
Oh and when I trade something to him/with him? lol He says: "Can I keep it? Naah, just kidding, hahahaha" LOL

Of course Vorstag's voice will follow me into my dreams... especially when he calls me "his love" <3 SIGH lol

Besides the guards, I want to smack Lydia. She sure got an attitude when you trade stuff with her lol 'I'm sworn to carry your burdens *big sigh*'

Same here! I heard that line for the first time on my Imperial Paladin and wanted to do just that, it was disappointing to find that she couldn't be married. Would've been awesome to be able to reapond "Yes, yes I am." Can we get a Romancing of Erdi mod from the author of the Oblivion mod of The Romancing of Eyja? :D

Astrid left an impression on me. Not so much what she said, but that voice...

I don't understand how anyone can put in 400 hours in a game in under less than two months. I've played 150 hours and I'm so sick of the game I need a break.

Karliah had a great voice too.
