So I just made a Khajiit in the game after watching this Dovahkiity video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WLaHPLhbMU)

And I was wondering if unarmed is ok at higher levels, I know archery will be fine but I don't like to use one-handed weapons in the game. Plus, the unarmed finishers in the game look very amazing. I am aware of the unarmed attack perk for heavy armor and, minor spoiler . Would those be enough to use unarmed attacks instead of one-handed weapons in the game at, lets just say, level 40 or 50?

For early levels, Unarmed will destroy almost anything as a Khajiit. At higher levels, though, it isn't as effective without investing huge amounts of time into an unarmed enchantment and powerful gauntlets. But if you're willing to do that, then go for it.

Well, I'm currently L20, wandering around, I am Khajiit, *really* like the bow, but I'll use a short sword if I have to (which is not very often). I've used fists (ummm... paws??) in a number of situations, and have been surprised at how effective that is!! I'm not sure why my unarmed attacks work so well, I haven't particularly trained in that. I use light armour.

By default, a Khajiit deals 15 damage with his/her claws. So that is why you are naturally good at punching (Pawing) people to death.

Just be sure to take smithing so you can improve your gauntlets high enough to make up for their minimal damage. I've heard that unarmed damage calculation is bugged, though. So be wary.
