ok so i got the quest and im level 55 and i tell a followerer i brought to touch the thing and he gets caught in it. then i kill him with the sword i was given and ive also tried my main weapon and all that happens is she says "ahh wearing flesh is so distasteful, you have caught my attention mortal that is most unwise." then if i click on her she says the same thing each time. ive read shes supposed to ask me to kill the other cultists but she doesnt. what could i be doing wrong thanks.

It might be a glitch try reloading a last save.

i got it to work and completed the quest. i just killed all the cultists then she became a conduit of the last one and still was saying the same thing. so i took my followerer tot he thing and had him touch it and killed him then he turned into the conduit and it worked that way. so if anyone else is having this problem maybe this will work for you to.
