Markarth story pisses me off.

There is no way for a good character to complete the main quest here properly. The Forsworn are terrorists, and to escape the mine with them you have to murder an innocent man. Or you can kill Madanach and leave the Silver-Bloods to their corrupt ways. You can't even expose them to the Jarl. Really annoying.

Guess what, life is like that. Welcome to life. Your character may be able to fix some problems but they aren't some magical Mary Sue character which can do things like "This family has been cursed for 1000 years and can never be cured. Oops, I cured it because I am MC" If you expect the game to support Ultimate Paladin styles of gameplay, you are sadly mistaken. This isn't an ideal world and you aren't just going to magically fix everything that no one has for years.

Yes, but I should at least have the option to expose the family. I would be fine if I had that option and the Jarl refused to do anything about it. But just leaving the mine and leaving them to their business with no option to even try to do something about it is an oversight. It feels like my character doesn't care.

The Forsworn Conspiracy did that and look at how that ended. I think the MC in Skyrim is a bit grounded in reality. If you were in that situation, would you be willing to risk your life and freedom to expose the family who essentially own the town and would most likely kill you for it.

OP likes black and white choices, it seems.

The Silver-Bloods have the Jarl in their palms, don't they? If so, it obviously won't work.

I agree with the OP, he just wants options even if the jarl ignores him. The world may not be black and white, but people surely can be or at least try to be, the Markarth story doesnt give you the option.

That should be for my character to decide, not the developers.

No, I just dislike loose ends.

They hate the Jarl, as he's pro-Imperials.

Actually, for these reasons, this is one of the few quests I've truly enjoyed in Skyrim.
