I have destruction lvl 100, and when I talk with her I get the option for the quest. Then when she ends with"I think it is better off in your hands" The dialogue option is still there(what do you mean) and I didn't receive any book?! Please help

Hmm maybe you didn't asked nicely Well did you tried a save game before? Maybe the Quest has a little bug.
