Checkoff Sheets

Post » Sat Jun 02, 2012 3:23 am

The Game Book has wonderful checkoff sheets for everything from spells to books. Unfortunately they are not detachable so unless you want to ruin them by writing on them you can't use them to keep track of your character. Does anyone know of a source to download such sheets so I can print separate copies for each character. I keep forgetting which spell tomes I already own and which enchanted items I don't need to buy to disenchant and which books I already have in a chest so I don't need to carry out of some cave.

The book has what-now? I own The book but didn't know this. What pages(es) so I may also do this? It sure beats trying to remember stuff.

The Prima Game Guide starting about P. 70 in the Inventory section.

I thought about a copier but the book is thick and the print runs close to the gutter. Also the print is very light against a greyish background and too small for me to read without a magnifier. Even my reading glasses aren't enough.

Thanks. I'm going to try to make a copy of it tonight (FOR MY OWN PERSONAL USE; that is). Goes to show you how often I open the book. I just stuck it on the shelf next to the computer desk with my FO3, FO:NV, Oblivion guides, Skyrim artbook and Alduin statue.

I scanned them and printed them and they turned out fine for me. You could enlarge the image to read it better too.

Two words: Utility Knife

I know, it seems kind of sacrilegious to take a knife to a book, but if you're very careful, you can cut out just the page you want to copy. If you don't actually like the pages because the print is too small, well, I dunno what to say. I think some copiers can create enlarged prints on extra large paper, maybe? Likewise, some copiers will allow you to play with light/dark and contrast, to try to make the background lighter and the text darker? If not, you can scan the page and load it into an image editor on your computer, then you can do things like replacing the grey background with white, and other adjustments.

If you don't have a copy machine or have a [censored] one that's hard to work with, use pen(cil) and paper. The old standby.
