All joking aside, would you really trade in this game for $30 dollars of in store credit?

How much do you want them to give you for it? How much would you pay to buy it used?

They have to have some profit margin built in there.

I wouldn't wan't them to give me anything. I would never trade in this game to begin with. It makes me wonder if gamestop knows anything about this game at all. I highly doubt people would be sick of this game enough to trade it in after a month and 1 day of being out.

$30 is a lot for a trade-in, especially from gamestop.

What really doesn't make sense is, DLC hasn't even come out yet.

This is one of the few single player games I'll hold on to. I only sold my copy of Oblivion so I could pick up the GOTY edition.

Yep. Ever since Game Crazy went under, we're stuck with these cheap asses.

I suppose I could just create an .iso file and sell off the disc. Win-win.

No way I'd part with Skyrim for $30. Craigslist sees Skyrim go for $45 consistently.

Maybe for MW3 of BF3 but not a TES. I can see if someone bought this game and knew nothing about it and hated it. The majority of us bought it with every intention of this game lasting us for months.

So true, most of the time its 5-10$ with used games still selling $40-$50 so gamestop sacrificed alot more than they usually do. I never use gamespot though anyway, as big a rip off as selling something at a pawn shop might as well sell it yourself seeing as skyrim is a popular game and is not an exclusive market like collectibles to a pawn shop. Gamespot stores are a total rip off for trade-ins like almost every other vendor.

They have to have some profit margin built in there.

They'll then put that $30 used game on the shelf for $50-55.

Gamestop has a HUGE profit margin.
