So I did five jobs for Delvin. Now what?

You have to do five jobs in a major city (besides Riften), then he'll give you a special job for that city. Do one of those in each major city (besides Riften), then you'll be done.

5 for each hold between Delvin and Vex's jobs... after that you'll be able to get a radiant quest that opens that hold to the thieves' guild

can be a real lot of quests... or could get lucky and it's not so bad.

my trouble was trying to get 500 MOAR gold out of Markarth in a bedlam job because I didn't want to try a sweep or shill job there with the arrest policy being what it is.

To be exact Whiterun, Windhelm, Markath and Sollitude. After completing five quests between Ves and Devlin in one of those holds you get a special quest to reestablish connections in that city. Restablish connections in all four and the guild is restored.

So if I just keep doing "numbers" jobs for Delvin will it still work? Because i'm not good at thieving.

As long as theyre in the cities you need. you can always reject the jobs they offer until one comes up that you need.

Didn't get enough hugs as a child??
