Races and their Culture in Skyrim

Many people have been making comparison between Skyrim and the previous game.

And something that I never saw as an pro-Skyrim argument is Culture.. And how each race has one in Skyrim.

In the previous game, we had much more examples of dead cultures than of real ones... For a long time we saw more Dwemer and Aylied culture than Khajiti, Orc, Breton or Redguard culture.
Morrowind had a good emphasis on the Imperial and the Dunmer one. But the other were far less present, with exception of the Nord one in the expansion. However, Morrowinds cultures were fine for the time's hardware

Oblivion had an amazing Imperial culture... you would be able too see many and many cities, and they all would be a different part of the Imperial culture... but the other races where just forgoten (again, with the exception of the nord culture)... what was kinda odd in the heart of the world's commerce and government.
Of course we can say that it was a "Hardware problem", but I think that Oblivion could have a few more details... a few pieces of clothing... or a Embassy.

Skyrim impressed me, I thought that we would just see Nord and Imperials cultures, like the Dunmer and Imperial Morrowind... but that is not what happened....

Skyrim have added deepness to most of the Races of the games.... The Khajiti caravans, the stronghold Orcs, the Dunmer refuges, the Alik'r Redguards, the Thalmor, the Forsworn... all they had a lot of details, some had unique clothes, and different accents, and even unique weapons ( Curved ... Sword...) ... And all this without forgetting the Nords and Imperials....
And even the dead cultures, like the Tamriel Akaviri, seems to be better now.
Oddly, Skyrim seems to be more connected with the world, than OB's Cyrodiill.

I think the Gray Quarter is a good example of the details that Skyrim have, with all that Grey Elf decoration....

I hope Bethesda keep this way... Skyrim would be good just with the Nord culture, but with all the foreign details, it ended up being much better.

There is some merit to what you say. Especially with Khajiiti culture in Oblivion. I think up until SKyrim most of the cultures outside of the game world's were more or less just a reference unless they had a specific quest line or artifact hailing from another province.
