Is there a map out for all the locations of everything hidden underwater? Anyone have any cool finds?

One cave up by Solitude associated with a lighthouse quest (can't recall it at the present moment) has a chest in the water, and I remember finding quite a bit of gold and an enchanted weapon in it, so that was interesting. Haven't really found any underwater finds, unless the orcish sword sticking up out of the water near Whiterun counts.

One treasure map sends you to a chest near the Lady Stone. It wasn't real good stuff though. Other than that.... I don't mess around in the water much.

As an Argonian, I always look underwater. There's actually quite a bit of stuff. If you're in a dungeon, and there's deep water, there will usually be treasure of some sort. In Mzinchaleft, for example, there's an underwater door with an underwater hallway & rooms with stuff in it, as well as a chest directly below the one you have to use the Whirlwind Shout to reach. There's stuff underwater in the sewers below the city in Blackreach (if I remember correctly - if you fall to the side of one of the passageways, you'll drop into deep water). And there's a master chest at the bottom of the underground lake in Kagrenzel.

A bunch of others, too many to remember.

I just recently got the dragon priest mask that lets you breathe underwater. I haven't used it to explore a lot yet but today it was funny to see the Dremora Lord follow me into the water. He was swimming just fine until he disintegrated...funny. If I find anything great I'll look for this thread and let you know. :)

Also, look underwater around shipwrecks. I seem to remember some loose chests near one or two of them.

NO. Ever since Half-Life 2... i've been afraid of water:

Spoiler
The part where your using the teleporter and get put underwater with that HUGE ASS fish charging straight at you? YEA!

I am the very same way.. on Day 1 of release my friend saw on my TV I kept jumping iceberg to iceberg (area around Solitude). And he goes "why not just get in the Water and Swim Back?" AHAHAHAHAH no.

For all I know? There could be an F'ing Killer Whale under that water and I wouldn't know.

ON THAT NOTE: Is there a Giant Slaughterfish in Skyrim?

There are two in this cave (Black Marauders home base). One int he first pond at the entrance (down to the left, straight out from the broken boat), and one in the broken, sunk boat at the scene of the end battle, right where the boat is broken in half. There is a book on the top floor of the scaffolding that tells the story of the one in the sunken boat, but no mention of the other one.

There are a few other, one in the ruins where you fight Rahgot, etc. Mostly fluff and fodder though. 10 to 30 gold coins, some weak armor or iron/steel weapons. Nothing significant that I've found.

There is an underwater location with 3 wrecked ships completely deep underwater along northeast corner of the map. I almost died trying to loot the ships.
Spoiler
Pilgrim's Trench.

Since I got the Volsung mask I always look underwater. I also found the Pilgrim 's Trench (N/W) of Winterhold, deep underwater. There is a journal near a skeleton on an island near it related to it. Sad story. If I find something unusual I'll keep in mind and post it here...

One treasure map sends you to a chest near the Lady Stone...

That chest is essential in TG quest, So I'd be careful about looting it if you are thinking about becoming a thief.
