Doing the college mage quest line and i think i saw an insert in the game of an lord of the rings i cant remember the excact place but its when you have to go under the college and theres like a hand with a index thinger ring like on lord of the ring but you cant activate it any idea what it is ?

There is a key you find down there and I think it unlocks the shelves in the library. Don't know for sure though, but they might contain rings
