Any guilds to join as a Paladin?

Playing through as a Paladin I can't help but notice there's no guilds to join. Are there any secret ones or special quest lines a Paladin would join/go through?

No. Thieves, assassins, mages, fighters, they don't specialize anymore beyond that.

You need to play Oblivion, specifically Knights of the Nine. ;) Skyrim is the wrong place for your kind.

You can join the College, as you're likely going to be good at restoration and maybe even in alteration.

I almost always start a game with a paladin character, but re-rolled after about 20 hours play. The game forced me down lines that my character would never go. I think in order to play a strict paladin, you'll have to quit the main quest at some point, and have trouble advancing much past a start in the companions. The one questline I think you might try is to destroy the Dark Brotherhood... though I don't know how to start it.

Paladin Brother!

Unfortunantly, no. I joined the companions in seek of adventure.

Oh boy did I get into a "Hairy" adventure, it was pretty "Beastly"

Ahem, let's say I stopped being a paladin.

...

And from what I can see, no guilds for us Paladins. Maybe the college since we spam healing magic, and it is necessary to unlock the Master restoration spells. Besides the quest line there is more of a heroic save everyone quest. If your a console user, your cursed. If your a PC user, luckily mods will fix this issue. Skyrim is a dark place, it's just a shame that I cannot help it.

Guess I'm cursed then :( however, in about 2 weeks to 2 months I'll be quitting Skyrim for Star Wars: The Old Republic. Having made 10 characters and played for 2 hours minimum(usually 5+) each day already; I feel I already got my moneys worth.

There will probably be DLC out for skyrim with more light/good based quests, I think bethesda are well aware that a lot of people are unhappy about the current set-up of the guild lines and main quests. Since I also played a Paladin first the only guilds I could really join were the college of winterhold and the bard's college XD.

wish the vigilants of stendarr had a quest line. Kinda seems like they were supposed to but it didn't make it into the release..judging by how the random stendar people will tell you where to find their base and how there is a named leader looking over a map and all. At least that's my guess.

Don't sell it just yet, I know how you feel.

Wait until the first DLC is out, maybe Paladin's will get something them?

They said 2 expansions for this one, so give it some time.

Take a break, don't wear yourself out.

And like I said, the College is an option. The companions are... questionable.

Spoiler
The "Circle" are actually a group of Werewolves inside the companions, which make me question them. Along with doing anything as long as "The gold is good enough". And Two of them worship Hircine, a Daedric prince.

That's why I don't follow them anymore, and ignore them.

You need to be able to join the Vigilants of Stendarr. I thought that would be perfect for Crusaders. Hopefully we see the Crusader Armor, updated, in one of the DLCs. And dare I say, Horse Armor, for my "Holy" Knight.

I guess, I wish there was other orders for the divines.

Like Akatosh or something.

It would probably be more of his son, Arkay, since hes against the undead and "evil" etc. Bring back the Templar Order from Daggerfall, http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Knights_of_the_Circle.
