Do the guards have psycich powers?

Post » Sat Jun 02, 2012 7:12 am

I had just started my Necromancer, (low lvl, and almost no points in Conjuration tree) and a guard in Whiterun said: "Hail summoner. Conjure me a warm bed" or something...

That was kinda funny.

Maybe they can read our minds??!

i believe guards comment on the last skill you raised. which makes for some absurd comments when you randomly find a skill book.

EVERYBODY and his brother knows EVERYTHING about you, even if you left no witnesses. They will comment about stuff that you have done, learned and sometimes just thought about. I'm not really sure why the designers did this, other than maybe a really sick sense of humor.

Pst, pst, I know who you are... Hail Sithis! Next time a guard says that, he will find more than just an arrow in the knee! LOL

I know you.... alright, you're under arrest for your crimes. We can do this peacefully.

* I'm with the Guild (bribe pay 471 gold) <<< yeah, right I'm gonna do this. The good stolen goods are in the house.
* go to jail
* pay fine (5 gold) --- crime? I killed a chicken.
* you'll never take me alive

"I'll pay the fine."
"Smart move. Now I'll take your fine and confiscate all your stolen goods." (bastard took 5 bottles of stolen skooma and moon sugar I was going to sell to some Khajiit)

now I want to see a scene where I return and there's a guard addicted to skooma and wants me to hook him up with more.

My Dark Elf Listener kills every guard that says this to her. You just don't talk about the Brotherhood in public.

This post reminded me of a nasty habbit my Jormungand has; as a strong and true stormcloaker whenever he sees a camp full of imperials he goes all crazy on his swords.

I never noticed guards can read minds, but I find it creepy and at the same time, funny.

Better to be a Stormcloak than dirty imperial sticking his nose in homelands he does not belong to.

I love this political crap on the forum. :foodndrink:

lol

they're the rumormill of the game. the guards know all and make sure to comment on it.

I love when they know I did something before I did, like Hail Sithis. I had to ask my boyfriend who had to explain that I'd killed Grelod and would soon be hearing from the Dark Brotherhood because it started that chain for me.

What I love most though is that it's the guards I turned myself in to after I killed her. ha... nice bit of irony there.

lmao. wow.

I totally misunderstood the whole chain for the Stormcloaks. I thought we were fighting against the oppressors and setting Skyrim free for an almost impossible war that will wage well into our children's children's lifetimes against first the Empire and then the Aldmeri Dominion?
