ok so i have to questions, the first is, do dragons disappear after you defeat the main quest or before you beat its, if before around what quest? Question two, where do i buy a soul catching spells, or a staff that does that, preferable a spell though,

Dragons never stop randomly populating once they start (which is SOON).

The vendors carry randomly enchanted weapons. Just keep visiting different ones until you either find one in their inventory, or retrieve one from random loot.

The Mage vendors should sell Soul Tap - might have to be a Conjuration specialist though. You've probably figured it out by now, but you don't need Soul Tap for dragons.


Since this thread is already titled: has anyone had a dead dragon not burn up and you absorb the soul? :\ Is that a random thing or did one of mine just glitch?

I've had one out of all the dragons on all my toons. I think it's an occasional glitch.

The dragon near Bonestrewn Crest consistently glitches like that.

Ah, is that the alcove in the wilderness where you get a word and the structuer has some kind of affectation/ornamentation on the top?
