Is it possible to get married again if your wife dies?

She is still alive, but I'm wondering...

It's a one time thing. Only one marriage per game character.

Unless you use the Console Commands or the Skyrim Construction Kit.

Never use your spouse as an adventuring fighting companion. Use someone else to go fighting with.

Well, I guess I'll have to put up with her wearing armor and a shield indoors then (she is Jordis, the housecarl of Solitude).
