Seems every time I have a bounty collection from Skald in Dawster, once I complete that objective it does not clear from my active miscellaneous objective menu. This has happened three times now and I have three entries there which have been completed. Anyone have a way to clear those entries? There starting to pile up.

If you're on the PC, you can use console commands to advance quests through their different levels. Each quest has like 4-5 different levels and you can advance a quest to any level, which helps if you're stuck for some reason.

Tried that already setting the setstage (QuestID) for the miscellaneous Kill the Dragon at 200 which is completing the quest, It does not clear the entry. If I setstage (QuestID) 200 for the kill the dragon prior to talking with Skald then I will receive the 500 bounty but it still does not clear the entry. In other words I am not getting "The Quest Completed" on the screen once the quest is done.

Skald is, to put it bluntly, bugged.

Yeah, I get the same thing with Skald, and with the Azura's Shrine quest too. Maybe others, but I try not to look at the journal too much ever since I noticed these bugs, so I'm not sure.

Ya I think your right. Have three entries not cleared with bounty quests related to talking with him to collect the coin after doing the quest.

There are several miscellaneous quests that are bugged like that thanks to patch 1.2. The Amulet of Talos quest in Solitude is another one.

I have IIRC like 5, all different misc quests, all still in my log. I don't even bother with him, nor the bounties that you might find. I am however his thane.
