So, with the coming release of the new DLC (very exciting) I figured I would get back into Skyrim a bit. I load up an old save, and suddenly half my character's face is missing. For some reason every texture in the game decided to checkerboard, then started flickering and jumping around. I deactivated all my mods, hoping that was the problem, but to no avail. Every save game, even brand new characters, even the loading screens have the same issue. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/266/screenshot2kr.png/is a screenshot of said bug, and http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/38/screenshot3bvq.png/is a second, though that is by no means the extent of the problem. As you can see, actors, clothing, and furniture are all affected; in another instance the statue of Alduin in the first loading screen had the same problem. Even the Skyrim symbol on the main menu screen was missing portions.
If it helps I am running a steam install on an ATI Radeon 4550 HD (with drivers up to date), and have run Skyrim perfectly in the past on high graphics settings. I attempted to uninstall, delete all the program files, then reinstall the game twice, but the same issue appeared every time. I attempted searching the forum, but with no luck. Any help would be very much appreciated, so I can enjoy my favorite RPG once more!

Thank you very much, I appreciate your time.
