Becoming a murderer for the Dark Brotherhood with Destructio

Becoming a murderer for the Dark Brotherhood with Destruction\Alteration\Illusion, is that possible? I mean, everything is possible
But would it be possible to assassinate somebody with these skill trees?

I mean I have Illusion for controlling large groups of enemies. And to gain better stealth.
Then I use Alteration to increase my armor and for Paralyze enemies, also I use this because I am a caster murderer so I want to wear cloth, I like cloth.

Then Destruction for setting up traps while I'm Invisibile, traps for larger group of enemies perhaps?

Then I could take Conjuration + Bow skills to make my Bound Bow for assassinating targets silently?

*shrugh*
I don't know, I could go with the basic Sneak > Illusion > Bow\Dagger > Pickpocketing > Alchemy but seem a bit dull? for me? I don't know!

Get silent casting and try it out.

You could totally do that wedding mission and cast frenzy on the husband to make him kill his blushing bride-to-be. Pure awesome.

You can assassinate somebody with absolutely no perks spent in any skill tree. To join the Dark Brotherhood and be a murderer, there is only one thing you need to do and it isn't a skill.

Direct and less snarky answer: yes, you can absolutely do this.

You may not need Alteration since you are planning to take full advantage of Illusion. If you've never used Illusion before... you'll see what I'm talking about soon enough. Even the need for armor is low since you can use Quiet Casting + Invisibility + Destruction spells to take out your enemies. And the Calm-Firebolt-Calm-Repeat routine is viable in almost any fight (though you may need a higher level calming spell than Calm).

(Invisibility *does* work during a battle - you just need to crouch and get away from the last spot the enemy saw you. Your Dark Brotherhood boots will give you the Muffle effect you need to succeed there.)

My assassin uses bound weapons and alteration for defensive stats, with illusion for stealth spells and silent casting. The whole point for him is that he never carries weapons or wears armor. Works very nicely, even thoughbound weapons are lackluster as scaling kicks in.

Quiet Casting + Conjuration + Destruction to help the Daedra mop up = win.

I have a Dark Elf mage who specializes in destruction and he is currently on the last Dark Brotherhood quest. I had very little trouble assassinating without getting bounties, except for the Gourmet quest. Of course, I did use a sword or dagger a few times when it was necessary, and no i don't even have the silent spell perk.

Currently, i am deciding what to do with the Solitude bounty i have b4 finishing DB questline: either keep it, burn anything in my way of killing the emperor (in turn increasing my bounty); or ; drop all gear and lose the bounty by going to jail or paying fine and then proceed... I think my character would refer to destroy all in his path.

Illusion for quiet casting, invisibility, muffle and crowd control (calm, fear frenzy)
Destruction for dealing damage.

Don't really need alteration but paralyze would come in handy.

Spoiler
You don't even have to go into Solitude to get to the Emperor. Go to the Abandoned Shack where you first met Astrid, and swim to the ship. Use the Anchor chain to get inside, then proceed as you have become so good at doing. ;)
