PC or Console?

Note, decorating in Skyrim is a nightmare. You almost have to use the pre-made wall mounts and bookcases and nothing else.

You hold in the E button. Press it to release the item.

And simple answer to how you decorate your house; you don't so far.

hold down the button you use to pick up IE on the PC it's "E" so hold it in until the time is picked up (a second or two) then move it to desired spot. Some thing I noticed however is that the physics are a bit tricky sometimes. It seems that gravity and movement don't work on the objects as long as your holding on to them so for instance if you pick up a bottle that sideways it will never fall to being right side up so your forced to push it on things to turn it.

In Fallout 3, you were able to grab an item at a point, and then rotate it with another key. This made decorating pretty easy, though not perfect.

I wonder why they messed this up in Skyrim...?
