OMFG this quest is hilarious.

I paid Ysolda for the ring because the Persuade option was basically a lie and I don't like lying to innocent NPCs (trying to be as noble as possible on my Nord basher/slasher) - what would've happened had I used the Persuade option (something about wanting to see my fiance` and get married)?

Im a bit disappointed I used persuade on all the NPCs possible in this quest, which meant I missed all the interesting stuff in the middle. Looking foward to my next character, I want to go through the entire story.

- if you use persuade it misses the next part of the quest i.e. i persuaded ysolda and missed out on the hargraven part.

Nothing really, she just gives you the same info without your having to pay for or find the ring.

It's a shame you just paid it. The "fiance" had me falling out of my chair.

I have enough gold because I exploit the house purchases (don't judge me - it's hard out here ). So I guess there's no way to see/meet our alleged fiance, then?

Check Witchmist Grove. She may still be there, though she probably despawns once the quest it completed.

Another question: Wikia says something about gathering items and cleaning up the temple...I didn't give her any items or clean up - is that just a smoke screen within the quest that redirects when you go to Rorikstead? :\

I love that quest. Too bad my main has a serious personality, so i can't do it with him. but i did it with an alt just for fun, and it was awesome.

I just went back to the Inner Sanctum and this time Hamal entered into dialogue giving me the quest to kidnap their "Sybil". I love her opening line: "Men are not allowed in the Inner Sanctum." "No, $***, Honey, that's why y'all are so bitter!".
