Werewolf+Bed rest ability? Doable?

Post » Sat Jun 02, 2012 11:32 pm

Ok so I almost have the companion storyline wrapped up and I don't think I'll end up curing my lycanthrope because I love hauling cross country as a beast and tearing through anyone I want. BUUUUT....I do want a juicy 10% skill bonus from resting to cut down on some mundane grinding.

On the Skyrim wiki, it says if you choose to help Aela get all the totems and obtain the ring of hircine BEFORE curing yourself of Lycanthrope, you can still transform into a werewolf by equipping the ring after curing yourself. But another portion says the ring doesn't work unless you have the disease itself, so even if you obtain and get all the totems it won't work after you're cured.

So which is the proper answer? Anyone tested?

Apparently getting married and sleeping next to your spouse can give you a sleeping bonus. But I dont know if the lycanthropy would counteract even that?

Where exactly does it question whether you need the disease or not? As far as I can see on both wikia and the UESP both rings require the disease in order to be used.

The spouse bonus can not be obtained if you are a werewolf
