I was the head of the organization at last.
Dead may be dead, but I'm alive!
I went to my chambers. My inventory was filled to the rim by items weighting me down, so I carefully sorted the items in different containers in my chambers.
Armor in one, soul-gems, gems and valuables in one, weapons in one. And junk in the safe.
Keys in a barrel.
Then I decided to check out the roof of my newly aquired grand tower.
There's no other way up or down, but the doors leading to the tower stairs.
A small square meets me outside, a doorway back down in front of me and behind me, with a large circular to the north -- the large part of the actual top of the tower.
The place is a perfect scene for an arcane archer like my character, defending the fortress against an invading army from the sea, or the bridge on the opposite side -- with his bound bow and conjured summons...
I call him a mage, because he does not use physical weapons -- only bound weapons.
I walk around... up there. The tallest tower I've seen in skyrim so far, with a view for miles to the east, north and west. Winterhold to the southwest.
I jump onto the ledge.
Looking down...
There is no way anyone can survive that fall. I walk around.
I hear a roar in the distance.
I am reminded that I'm outdoors, in Skyrim -- and not in some random interior-exterior room.
The scenery, the sea, the islands -- it's all the world around me.
It's so freaking tall!
I imagine falling down. Falling for seconds before hitting the ground. *Shrug*
Perhaps you'd survive if you jump towards the sea.
If you just could reach it 300 feet below, and 40 feet out from the tower wall, 25 feet out from the mountain the tower rests?
...
My admiration for this grand tower is interrupted by the roars...
The roars of a dragon!
I realize I don't have any resistance potions, and I don't resist fire very well -- I completely cleaned out my character of every single item except the armor he wore, to be able to loot dwarven mines!
This is not a fight that I want to have right now, so as the dragon approaches, I head for the door back down.
But it is locked -- and I have to fight the dragon without resistances!!
I have to take the fight on the roof, a 35 foot diameter circle, with a 10 by 10 foot square attached to it, 300 feet above the sea, 150 feet above the marble below, against a dragon!
So I conjure a bow, and start the fight of my lifetime.
Me, on the top of a tower, against a dragon.
No health potions.
No resistances.
I almost die to the flames of the dragon, several times, before I even hit the dragon with my first arrow.
The health of the dragon is barely moving at all, and my health never has the time to fully regenerate.
I have no potions!
Using a bound bow, and low on magicka, I have no choice but to continue using the bow for a short while, lest I'll end up without any weapon once my summon is out.
I find that the walls on the square part are taller, and offer more protection agains the dragon's flames.
He finally lands on the roof!
I pull off an arrow, barely escape the fire alive, and his life is SO LOW!
So I notch an arrow, walk out in slow-motion, and let the arrow fly directly into the dragon's scull.
It dies.
I absorb his soul, and proceed to carve off scales and bones for crafting, taking his gold and a magical item of great interest.
The fight of my lifetime..!
The first time EVER a dragon-fight was THAT challenging!

...
...
...
...
But then I walked over to the doors back down...
...
30 seconds later, I saw that the angle was wrong.
The distance was too long; or I was falling too fast...
To make matters worse, I barely hit the sea where it still was too shallow...
On the screen, my character floats in the sea, face down.
Dead is dead.
Spoiler
But seriously.
THOSE TWO DOORS SHOULD BE LOCKED ON BOTH SIDES TO PREVENT ADVENTURERS FROM WALKING UP THERE WITHOUT THE KEY AT HAND !!!!
