Can you believe the difference?

I might be overreacting, but I was just thinking about this.

i bought Two Worlds 2 a while back when it was on sale and I thought it was actually pretty good. It filled my need for an open world non Fallout type game. I thought that when the next TES came out I wouldn't need it as much since this game was pretty good.

The difference in these 2 games are astonishing. It's just on another level. I honestly think Oblivion and TW2 are kinda on the same plate. that might not be as much of a compliment since TW2 came out long after Oblivion, but seeing as TW2 came out not all that long ago to Skyrim....it just amazes me.

Like I said, I'm probably overreacting, but it just amazes me how 2 games that are in the same category and released within the same year can be so different.

Two Worlds 2 was decent when I first started playing it, but then I was done within a couple weeks. Didnt even finish any storylines or major quests to my knowledge. To be honest, I cant even remember a single thing about it.

Before Skyrims announcement I was so hyped for non-TES sandbox rpg's. Gothic: Arcania, Two Worlds 2, Risen and more.

I couldn't even play them halfway through before they were uninstalled, and replaced with Oblivion.

All those whiners here on the Skyrim forum should play 2WII, wich is a pretty decent game. Maybe then they'll start realising again how incredibly good Skyrim actually is, and that the 'huge problem' is only a minor issue ;)
