Oghma Infinium...level 81 in no time!

Post » Sat Jun 02, 2012 9:30 pm

After getting to level 50 by myself and having my main skills at level 100, i was starting to think of ways to train my other skills quickly so they would level me and let me get extra perks in useful trees....there is no point in just grinding away trying to level a skill. Its just a straight up BORING WASTE OF TIME. The oghma infinium exploit is amazing, i encourage everyone to use it once their main skills are maxed. It makes the game a lot more fun. To do this you have to have the Oghma Infinium still in your inventory without having used it...obviously
  • Open a book shelf.
  • In menu, open the book, select a path, close the book. Do not close the menu.
  • Drop the book onto the shelf, then close menu.
  • Activate the book while it's on the shelf. (not in the menu. You have to access the book as a world item.) Then select "Do Not Read" then select "Take"
  • Repeat.

Enjoy the royal but kicking as the strength of your enemies magnifies beyond your ability to handle them. You'll have the level but not the wisdom or the resources to use it effectively.

im playing on master and having no problems destroying everything in my path. Ive got forify health and health regen on all items i can, and fortify one handed on the others. Nothing can stop me, not even ancient dragons. Im very effective, thank you.

i put the procedure in the main post for you ^ xD

I believe enemies max out around level 50 so going higher in level just makes the game easier. Personally the game for me just got easier after level 35 or so and never stopped progressively getting easier as my character felt stronger. This, by the way, is fine with me as I will just retire my characters when the lack of challenge gets boring. it's good that your characters can get to a point where they feel all the levelling was worth it. If everything kept matching your level the entire game it wouldn't be as cool. That said, this does lead to me retiring characters as running around one shotting everything eventually inspires me to reroll.

Eh, I purposely set my level back to 5 whenever I have reached level 10. Keeps the enemy at low level, allows me to use the weak but good looking equipments, and PLENTY (and I mean PLENTY) of Perk Points

It's very fun! My health is amazingly high, but I compensate by wearing a ridiculously low level armor. I can also put points into stamina and magicka freely, and I can pick perks without having to contemplate for hours to end.

Now, I'm worried that I'll make it to level 100 skills and are left with 50 unusable perks

Oh well, I guess I'll just remove the perks and relearn them again once that happens

The have been altering this since launch with every patch.

After they fix it this time, I would advise discression about blaring your exploits all over the tubes.

Used to be able to do it before 1.2, almost the same way as now, then they just locked bookcases where you couldn't use them.

People figured out they could do it in chests instead, 1.3 comes along.... and its now a no-go.

Now bookcases function again, and people are exploiting the book...

Along comes 1.4...

(*crickets*)

What you think is gonna happen?

Heres the link to the original thread with instructions from the start. http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1276752-quickest-way-to-max-out-a-character-with-minimum-quests-completed-guide/

I always skip the buying the house part, I just use the barrel outside the Whiterun blacksmiths.

These exploits just seem like they take the fun out of the game. But I guess we all play our own way. I'm guilty of making a lot of iron daggers and leather bracers... :shifty:

enemies don't scale past ~50, power leveling past level 50 makes the game stupidly easy. as for this bug i dont know why you would not just use the console to max every skill with less effort.

Because PS3 and XBox dont have a console.
