Hey Powergamers...EnchantingAlchemy Feedback loop?

Post » Sat Jun 02, 2012 8:45 pm

Has any powergamer out there tried the feedback loop of potions and alchemy enchants yet? You know, get a large supply of Grand soul gems and reagents for a fortify enchanting potion, and a collection of items that can be enchanted with Fortify alchemy, then repeat the following loop until you get bored:

1: Brew "Fortify Enchanting potion."
2: Drink potion and enchant 5 items (Necklace, Ring, Shoes, gloves, hat) with Fortify Alchemy while under it's influence.
3: Equip newly enchanted items.
4: Go to step 1, Rinse and Repeat.

Is there a practical limit to how strong a Fortify Enchanting potion and how powerful a set of Fortify Alchemy gear you can make?

I have tried it on my character I completely made with console commands just to mess around, And for me, it got really complicated, takes a lot of available item and ingredients, and of course, some patience. I dont even enchant my regular characters gear though.

It's an very practical limit, without potions you get +25 alchemy gear, with it you get 29%,
its an 16% increase. from an +32% potion. Not worth to raise alchemy for this, however alchemy gives you +148% smiting potions in addition to resist fire and frost 85% and fortify and heal 200.

I have smithing potions that have in excess of 1000% improvement ... with the enchanting/alchemy/fortification loop I've created virtually infinite weapons and gear. I now one-shot everything, never lose any health and have maximum stamina always. It can be extremely boring!

Since the question seems to have already been answered, I don't feel as bad going slightly off topic:

I misread the title as "Hey Power Rangers." Just had to share.

The game is much more enjoyable if you dont max out your 3 trade skills.

With the restoration exploit everything goes out the window, tried it and found I made +3224332% enchant potions, yes I could make a smithing enchant with it who make iron daggers kill everything in one hit on master and get armor caped by a set of fur shoes, add capped magic resistance and regenerate health 10000 and you are set.

The game is much more enjoyable if you dont max out your 3 trade skills.
I like it, keep health low, make some highly effective weapons but use pretty crappy armor, my leather armor rating is 300, now turn difficulty to master, this generate an very fast paced gameplay, you can kill most enemies in one hit, however they can do the same to you.
