Sky Forge DLC

Post » Sat Jun 02, 2012 2:31 pm

During my travels i came across books telling about the Skyforge, and during the Companions questline some things were told about it (go hear for yourself cause telling it might be considered a spoiler).

The books tell about how frightened the Elves were of it, as if something was under it, so what if this could become the focus for some new DLC?

I make all my weapons and armor there, just for RP purposes.

I was actually a bit disappointed when I first went to the Skyforge. I made it up in my head to be a beautiful and legendary place, after hearing Alvor speaking of Skyforge Steel. Turned out it was just like another forge, but with a nicer view.. And it doesn't even have a smelter, bah :P

It doesnt have a workbench either >_<, this could easily be fixed through dlc's though, like in NEw vegas, they added the computers to send your companions back home if you couldnt find them.

Yes i know where to find it (heck the mention of the companions), i wish to know what it was about it that made the elves be afraid of it, what ancient power lies beneath it.

Yes, that's an amazing DLC idea.

Never understood why every town smith didn't have everything you would need for smithing. The Skyforge is the worst one though. He should certainly have a workbench.

I prefer not to use smithing. It makes the game easyer and i dont feel as much value out of some weapons. just to be off topic

What???? I never downloaded DLC for new Vegas, and when I patched my game once those computers just showed up, plus I can level over 30.
\end off topic question

I laughed, this sounds like something Bethesda would do.

The lack of smelters are annoying, someone make an mod with an summonable fire elemental who can be used for melting. the workbench, tanning rack, enchant and alchemy station should be possible to carry anyway. Just add an inflatable anvil and we are set.
And yes let us pick up and take the god figures to so we can get blessed anywhere.

I was super pumped about the skyforge because if the art that was posted before the game came out.
I thought it was going to be a giant eagle on a mountain, but it turns out the eagle isn't that big and the forge is in the middle of a town behind a house... -_-

Skyforge, and the only one who can make Skyforge Steel is that Grey-Mane fella. You get to make plain steel stuff there.
