More bugs than an ant farm....

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 2:30 am

I go onto UESP.com and virutally every quest has atleast 5 bugs attached to it. Why release a game if you run into bugs at every turn. I would have gladly waited on this game cause beleive it or not I DO like it. But they rushed the [censored] out of this game and now we the customers have to deal with it. and still no words on an update. And even if there was, whos to say there gonna fix all these bugs?

I don't know what to tell you. I've been playing Skyrim since release, and haven't run into any bugs at all. Yes, some quests seem to have various bugs listed in the wiki - then again, I tend to not believe everything I read there.

I haven't, because I dislike Windhelm in a major way, and Honeyside is really all the house I need (or Breezehome, depending on toon.) However, were I going to go for Hjerim, I would definitely talk to a couple of people I know IRL who have completed the questline with no issues.

I literally have had NO BUGS with this game. Period. I'm on pc, so no idea if people on consoles have more issues. And watch your tone. You have NO REASON to be that obnoxious to me.

Im the same way as you, I havent experienced any bugs besides Esbern messing up, but a console command fixed that instantly, I play on PC and i am 99% bug free!

...nor do you. Anyways, try doing the blood on the ice quest and youll see what I mean. And yes I have a PC aswell.
Blood on the ice? I did that without any issues, lol, the only issue I have is that the bloody bones are still in the secret area in my house there, Thats the only issue I had.

You can always just set the quest stage to the one after the one youre on, you may miss a bit of the story to it, however, it might debug the quest, I had to do that for Esbern.

Esbern (x2 different ones), Blood on Ice, Markarth house (x2 different ones), invincible enemies, NPCs attacking for no reason, impossible shout reading/dragon priest not coming up, things randomly falling from the sky, NPCs disappearing, corpses getting "stuck" between walls and vibrating/making weird sounds, sigil stone summoning and about a half dozen other random bugs that I can't remember right now... in just one play-through.

I don't know how it's even possible to not have anything happen for you, this game is terribly buggy (even fully updated).

Aside from the Hjerim and Markarth houses (neither of which I want or have ever bothered with so I couldn't say about those), NONE of those you listed has ever happened to any of my toons. I'm on number 15. I have a couple of toons over 50, the rest are 30 and under. I guess you're a bug-magnet. I'm not.

whole heartedly agree. I can tolerate broken quests but game file corruption is absurd. Just be glad you arent on a ps3.

A bit of tidying has taken place. Take care to keep your tones civil and avoid using personal attacks, please.

There has been word about a January patch from a December post.
I've had very few bugs.

There are many bugs, like ants in a ant farm. Luckily, they are usually very small ones, also like ants.
