Gold is easy enough to get anyway.

I can get 1,000,000,000,000,000, in about 2 sec

player.additem 0000000f 1,000,000,000,000,000 cheating is cheating after all. what is the point.

you dont need the 0's in front.

I think I read somewhere that if you use the console during a session, you won't get any achievements. Since the goal in the thread linked is to get the 100k gold achievement, that wouldn't work.

Of course, that's just something I read, and could be wrong.

nope you still get the achievements just non of the satisfaction of earning them

Achievements still work, I just don't think you can cheat your way through the quests to achieve them like giving yourself the daedric artifacts through console. I cheated the majority of my first playthrough and thats where I got most of my achievements.

Okay, time to invest in speech and merchant skills. I've just never really been short on gold. It's the shop keepers that have. I'll usually find some glass armor, buy some malachite and make it legendary and sell it, but the armorer doesn't have enough money, and instead of the 400 I was going to get for it, it is worth 1500 now. Sometimes I'll find two or three sets on a single trip out. Where is the Mudcrab's Famous Shop when you need it?
