Okay.. What the hell man...

I tried this so many different ways... But he still does not equip the weapons or armor i give him.

I tried free and give items (fgi- so its simple... I typed it with the "a" in it first but i dont need any problems.. Lol) first then fighting the thalmor.. I tried fgi after initiating the fight... I tried fgi after killing them all... Ugh!!! He still wont put the stuff on...

Yet... He searched the already looted corpses for stuff as if he finally want to cover himself up instead of the rags hes got on... Dum dum prisoner... If i didnt hate the thalmor so much, id let em have you.

Anyway.. Anyone know why he wont equip the stuff?

Bug , the guys I free use the weapons I give them .

I have given the Prisoners Armor and Weapons myself, sometimes they actually use them, sometimes they decide to stick to fists. I wish they would try equipping Armor though, the ones who use thier fists usually end up dead.

Exactly.. And the thalmor fight him first.. Kinda smart on their part.. Kill the escaping prisoner.. Still... I wish he would equip... something...

I can confirm that! I gave the prisoner a superior steel axe and he never used it to help or defend himself. He used his fists. What a noob! I'm glad Lydia and I were able to get rid of the Thalmors before they could kill him.
