Deep and Creepy-Wolfskull Cave

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 12:18 am

Wolfskull Cave showed what is best about the Skyrim game. The few hairs I still have on my head were straight up in this quest. The cave appearance was topnotch (phoo to naysayers who say all Skyrim caverns are the same. Think they were thinking of Oblivion--which I happily played for years, and again with OOO).
But, Wolfskull passed them all, so far for me. Loved the adventure there.
Go, Skyrim!

Go clear out the sightless pit(left of azuras shrine). Coolest place I've been so far.

Somehow missed that when I was up at the shrine. Will cheat and FT to look for it. Thanx for the tip!

I thought avanchnzel had a great design style - really gave you the sense of exploring the remnants of something more advanced than the present times.

Yes plenty of creepy dungeons and castles in Skyrim which even without enemies feel as if they're alive with a resonating evil ever watchful waiting for a trigger to open a door into this world once more.

Talking about deep, creepy, massive, and otherwise absolutely amazing places... Blackreach. That's all I'm gonna say.
I don't know if I've ever been to Wolfskull cave [searching for it as I type this] but I'm almost certain Blackreach beats it by far in every aspect.
Will come back to this topic to apologize if I'm wrong. :D
