I know that I need a witches head and a trip back to the tomb but are all the ghosts respawned or is it empty? And is the side-door shortcut still there? I want to rid my character of the werewolf feature but I don't want to have to re-do the entire dungeon. Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

And yes, I am lazy much.

When I went back nothing had respawned and you could go through the side-door, so it was pretty easy.

You can even cure yourself on your first visit -- saves the trouble going back.

you can go back with farkas and vitkas to cure them as well. one brother at a time.

you can cure yourself after you cure them if you want to cure yourself.

After curing Kodlac, I just threw another one in for me. I picked up all the heads for future use. I've got two ready for the brothers. I doubt I'll convince Aela to bite ... or ... ummm... not bite. I was worried that it would glitch but it was fine.

so i only took the first head to cure kodlak - made sure he was all set, and forgot about it.

where was this witch place again? and then after getting the heads, i go back to that place at the top of the map to ditch the werewolf?

Glenmoril Cave or Haven. Out near Markarth area. Should be 5 total witches.

so hircine wanted me to kill the other guy that turned into a werewolf and i wouldn't do it - he was mad and confronted me - so i challenged him and he backed off? said he respected that or something, and i never saw him again.... just thought that was weird

I went back with the witch heads and Farkas, but nothing happened. It just said - activate the harbinger flame, press a. Nothing happened, we just stood there. What didn't I do? I'm carrying the statue's axe - that can't be the reason it's not working, can it?

The side door is still there, I went back to check after a couple of in-game months to see if had respawned but it had not.

Did Farkas ask you to cure him? After I cured Kodlak and then myself, I went back to Whiterun. After a while, I saw Farkas again and talked to him and he started the dialogue about curing him, too. Then you travel back with him and cure him.

If I go alone, would I be able to cure myself? Anyone know?

I already cured kodlak, but only had one witches head at the time - now I have them all....

To cure Vilkas or Farkas, you have to get it as a radient quest 1st. Otherwise it won't do anything when you go there.

To cure yourself, you just go there with a witch head. Sometimes it won't do anything. I had to wait a few in game weeks before it would let me cure myself. But I know for a fact that curing Vilkas and Farkas are quests.
