Mutts in the game

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 2:05 am

hi everybody,

i love dogs, i own one personally, (i like cats as well), in fact i love animals, having two horses, two rabbits and an hamstar aswell,

but in this game did beth just muck the mutts up? they just seem so....weak, and fragile , and there no variety! plus the peopel who own them tend to be very annoying, which means you end up killing the mutt to anger them ( sorry i love the word mutt, its been a severe problem of mine ever since i typed in "definition of a mutt" online (type it in and go on the dictonary, then listen to how us english people say "mutt"! ;) )

they just seem very underpowered and plain, wish we could go to ...i dunno a place that sells them and choose from long coated and shortcated and differant breeds.

on a more simish note, i wish they would introduce things like cats and snakes aswell, and i mean as dometicated pets! horses in this game are a lot more natural, andi m very pleased about them, but support for the dogs!

WHAT!

I have you know, Meeko saved me from a dragon attack. He kept it busy at the mouth, while I ravaged it from behind.

I agree on the variety issue! I take in strays (my dog and my 3 cats where strays and/or abandoned), so when I came across Meeko who sat next to his dead owner, my heart went out to him. I told him to follow me and I took him to my Riften home, where I put a bowl with beef in front of him and told him to wait on my porch. There's no way I could take a doggy into battle with me! LOL

I wish we had more options when interacting with a pet. Like "pet the dog" or tell him to "sit and stay" and they should become yours, if you pick up a stray, not return to their original home after you tell them "go home".

Companions still need a lot of work! LOL I always say, they need to talk to Bioware on how to make good companion dialogue, reactions etc.

Those dogs look like Irish Wolfhounds to me. Really bada$$ dogs. The Romans feared them.
