Things you haven't found legit that you're tempted to find o

I know this is the spoiler section but please no spoilers of locations since this is obviously about things people want to discover on their own despite knowing of their existence.

For me:

Lord Stone
Fiery Soul trap enchant
Fortify enchant effect for alchemy - I've embraced the dark side of crafting on my newest character, challenge and balance be damned at this point.

Well, I have a bow I picked up somewhere, an unusual smithing mold and a dagger - all are labeled as quest items, but thus far, I have not encountered any of their related quest givers. But I won't go look it up. One day, somewhere, when I least expect it, I am sure the mystery will be solved. Or not.

I have a Grand Staff of Charming and Kazhovien's (sp?) Fang in my inventory that are labeled as quest items, but I haven't found the related quests yet. Which is awesome, really, considering I'm almost 300 hours into the game and that means there are *still* things I haven't seen/done.

Indeed it is.

I have that fang as well. I don't even remember finding it.

I also found a candle mold, probably for some smith quest I have yet to encounter. :)

I don't mind, I know some people bug out over quest stuff stuck in their inventory, but I just ignore it.

The Fang turns up in a few dungeons. It is used for a quest with the Mages College once a certain skill is at 90 or above.

Note, you can put the Dagger, and probably any other weapon, on a wall plaque to get rid of it.

I found a mold in a cabin which turned out to be a quest item, I was quite shocked when I couldn't sell it.

I have no idea what you are talking about. Is this an item or a quest. Can I have a hint?

Have you seen the glitch to increase the fortfiy enchanting/smithing (anything) potion a billion+% if you want. I just did it for Carry weight boots . I can carry 1,234,345,739 in weight. Actually, I think its more. Great for moving my gear from house to house and just running around and picking up everything if you want and not worry about dumping every half hour. I am a compulsive collector. If it's not nailed down i take it. :)

It's a rare Imperial helmet. It is a full face helmet, and looks similar to a Greek helmet, instead of a Roman helmet.

Here's a hint to the location of one of these helmets:
Spoiler
Perform a favour for the Daedra lord Meridia.

I did scour whichever Dwemer ruin I was in about seven times before looking it up to find out the key I needed was part of the main quest and not in there.

I sitll have an Irkingthand somethingorother key I found off some bandit in one, that I have no idea what it opens (Irkingthand was the first ruin in Morrowind????)

That was the ruin near Suran and the talking mudcrab: Arkngthand. Irkngthand is another ruin in Skyrim. ;) You will need to go there for a quest in the game aswell.

You might want to hold on to that... really tight... you'll thank me later. ;)
