People are Following me Glitch

I've been having a problem with an NPC following me around and constantingly engaging me in a conversation and I was wondering if anyone knew a code that would remove this for the PC.

It started happening after the Thieves Guild fishing quest where I'm told to pickpocket somebody. I was told to pickpocket Farkas from the Champions Hall but I realized that my pickpockting skill was so terrible and no matter what I did I would always get caught. So I decided to just reload and decline the quest and get a new one but way later in the game when I decided to start the Champion questline, Farkas is sneaking with his sword drawn and following me around. When he reaches me he starts his normal chat as if I was the one who talked to him. It's getting pretty annoying because he will continuously interrupt conversations I'm having with other NPCs and this is becoming a problem whenever I enter Whiterun now.

I tried just killing him but looks like this character can't die and when he stands up again instead of sneaking after me he starts to run and continue to engage in conversation.

I don't have a bounty in Whiterun but I do in other places and I was thinking a remove bounty code might work be can't seem to find the cheat. Or does this character die in the questline and maybe I can just wait it out?

Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions? Thanks.

Hehe, I think this issue pops up every now and again. I've never had it, so I'm not sure what works, but I've heard joining the companions and recruiting him as a follower, then telling him to bugger off fixes it. I've also heard that if you have a bounty in Whiterun to pay it off and he'll stop bugging you. I hope you're able to fix it >.<

Oh, also, opening the console, clicking on him, then typing "disable" and hitting enter will remove him from the game. Not entirely sure that's a good idea if you still need to do the companion quests, though.

Paying off all my bounties everywhere worked. =D

Thanks so much!
