Night eye spell?

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 8:04 am

Just a quick question. Did the night eye ( I think that's what it was called ) spell make it through from Oblivion to Skyrim?

I noticed a race has it as a perk but I haven't come across a spell or potion yet...

Nope. Only Khajiit, vampires and werewolves have it.

And it's totally unnecessary since everything is so well lit thanks to the good folks at PG&E.

Think your brightness may be too high??
Or maybe mine too low??

Oh well, disappointed but still loving it...

No I actually have mine set a bit dark. Too bright a screen gives me headaches.

The illusion ritual spell works as a great night vision.

It's nice to differentiate a small tree from a bandit at long ranges, but other than that it gives me a headache to use all the time. It would be nicer if it didn't blur the screen like berserk. But I can see why, the whole predator thing.

I often thought about my favorite Illusion spell from Oblivion! Night Eye! Sure, most places are very well illuminated, but there are a few dwemer ruins that could use some night eye!

Morrowind version of Night Eye: Everything's brighter.
Oblivion version of Night Eye: Everything's blue and glowing. Wonder if this was some sort of attempt to mimic night vision cameras with their green video. I had to remove fingleam when I was outdoors during the day.
