If the world really belonged to you, the Dovahkiin...

First, i will take out Maven, sibbi and hemming but leave Ingrid alive.
Then, i will turn delphine and esbern over to the thalmor. The blades will be history then.
After that, i will try and rinse out all the thieves guild ppl in riften and cleanse riften of the flith, afterwards assist Commander Maro and wipe out the DB and burn the nightmother.
Later i will put ulfric's head on a spike and assist the empire against the thalmor.
Skyrim will be free :D

I would recreate the Blades with Delphine and Esbern as advisors until I get the hang of things. The new purpose of the Blades is clear: Become the Dragonborn's Task Force of the New Dragonborn Empire. Firstly, I'd try to capture another dragon and make the dragon another one of my followers like Odhaviing.

When the Thalmor takes notice, I contact Ulfric, tell him that he can be the High King so long as I can be the Emperor. I get the newly formed Blades and my two dragons to wipe out the Thalmor in Skyrim. Take the Blades and part of the Stormcloak army to the Imperial City and hold a sword to Titus Mede's head.

Then with the new Empire, I burn Summerset Isles to the ground. Considering that Dragon Shouts can be created as seen by Dragonrend, here's a shout for ya:

To go with the original theme of the post, here's what I'd change. Feel free to comment everybody.

Daedric Quests

* There would always be a "Good" option to complete them.

Civil War

* After Alduin, you can call a King's moot where you can elect either Ulfric or Elisif as High King OR forward yourself. If you are Thane of all the Jarldoms you can easily win.

Dark Brotherhood

* Nazir always offers a "jerkass victim."

* The Emperor's cousin is revealed to be a real scumbag, trading with pirates and offering ships to be sunk.

* You can let the innocent guy go for real.

* The gourmet is a scumbag as well.

Thieves Guild

* There is an option to wipe out the Thieves Guild ala the Dark Brotherhood.

* You can enter the thieves guild by simply paying your way in.

* You can pay off the debts of the various creditors.

* Joining the Nightingales is optional.

* After you're Guildmaster, you can say how you're going to change the Guild. Offering a Good, Evil, or Neutral option.

College

* There's a quest to discover the TRUE cause of the Collapse.

* You can be a jerk to the Thalmor spy.

* As archmage, you can order the college to support one side of the other (which will mean very little in the story but will help cement their control over Skyrim according to Ulfric or Tullius after the war).

* Better robes for the Archmage.

Followers

* Give everyone a backstory.

* Marriage dialogue for everyone.

Companions

* Remove the "beat people up" quest as it demenas the companions.

* You can cure Aela.
I like these changes, these and more along these lines would've been most welcome.

Wouldn't it be a bit dull if everything was just sunshine and bunnies? And the Dark Brotherhood being forced to be the good guys - I don't see the logic behind that. They are murderers who murder no matter who, don't care if its good or evil.

There is a point to this... if the Dovahkiin has not been of good allignment the world of choices opens up tremendously with the completion of the Dark Brotherhood quest chain in addition to the Thieves' Guild chain.

Support Ulfric! Viva la Revolution! Play it his way and keep your cards close to your chest while you're standing beside him as his friend.

At the summit confuse him by placing Riften in the Empire's hands. Don't say anything and if he asks explain that as a thief you just felt that the city was better off under Maven's control. He can't complain about political aspirations, not really. As soon as you're the head of the thieves' guild he'll "get it."

Make the long trek up to Sky Haven and let Delphine know that you can't find Paarthurnax and you're looking for him. You need herself and Esbern to help you collect all of the old information about the Blades, from where their last secret hideout was and where the libraries that were sacked by the Thalmor were located and the names of all the documents, books and training materials might be for help with rebuilding the blades. Tell her you're headed out in search of dragons and really need this information as soon as possible to begin rebuliding with. She doesn't have to know she's the mule and when you get back you're going to end her. It's really none of her business anyway.

Let the moot seat Ulfric. When the time is right you'll make your move for the seat of Emperor.

No, no one wants it to be sunshine and bunnies. The option to be an evil [censored] is still there.

As for the Dark Brotherhood, I figured it's more the case of giving options to be an anti-hero to those who want to join them as opposed to outright villainy.

I would pull a power-play and kill the Monks of the Psijic Order, keeping the Eye of Magnus and its power for myself. As Arch-Mage, I would expel Enthir.

I would convene the Moot after having the Empire defeated, I'd force them to put one of my lackeys on the throne. Then I'd have Elisif, Ulfric, Siddgeir, Maven Black-Briar, Galmar, all of the remaining legates, Esbern, and Delphine put to death. But I'd have Elisif's execution for treason made as public as possible. Same for Esbern and Delphine.

Of all the Jarls, including Leila Law-Giver and Siddgeir, she is the worst and the most incompetent. Her incompetence reaches treasonous levels on numerous occasions.

woot... thanks Alikah!

Of all the Jarls in the game I really find I only vaguely respect Balgruuf and Ulfric. At least they're not doormats. Leila is my least favorite and I can't feel sorry for Elisef, I can only feel sorry for her staff who are so completely supporting her. (doesn't she have an undead court mage and a housecarl or other staff member working for the thieves? --this is purely rumormill and still... ???)

The weakness of the Empire is so clear even in Skyrim that I look forward to remaking the Blades and remaking the leadership so that we are all strong nations prepared against our enemies.

:tongue:

I'd make Sybille (I think that's the vampire wizard's name) the Jarl of Solitude. Falk Firebeard almost caused a war with Potema. If it weren't for the Dovahkiin, his interference in Elisif's one decent choice would have caused an undead army to pop up.

I'd tell Big P to come and help a brother out , and kill Esbern and Delphine, then commence to rebuilding the blades as a khajiit only faction and wipe out the remaining empire.. After that we will FORCE high king Ulfric to let khajiit populate skyrim with the nords ( he WILL answer the khajiit dovakiin because we proven our strength by destroying the last remnants of the empire and name all honorable and warrior khajiit true sons of skyrim, and if he doesn't me and the greybeards will ALL Fus Ro Dah him off High Hrothgar)

AFTER that, My khajiit dovakiin will travel to akavari and get the Ka Po' Tun to join our elite " catman " faction and how him The dovakiin is born with the SOUL of a dragon. Then we will commence to take over nirn and after eradicating the AltmerJust the thalmor mer. and MAKE the world respect ALL beast-men.

except the igma. they bow down to the thalmor more so then the empire.

I'm going to go from a personal/"selfish" side: I'd choose either faction in the civil war. Other than a change in methods to get things done, it would have little difference to me which side wins. for the empire: I'd use my influence as archmage, harbinger of the companions, and Dovahkiin, to influence Imperial policy and militarization. for the stormcloaks: I'd lead Ulfric's faction to victory, then immediately challenge him for the title of "High King". I'd absolutely destroy him, call a moot, and, due to my official and unofficial powers and titles, would become the elected High King. I'd waltz into Whiterun, stab Vignar in the face, reinstate Balgruuf, travel to Markarth, order the reinstatement of Igmund as Jarl. I would kill any influential characters who oppose me, dispose of the useless Jarls like the Jarl of Riften, and bring Maven in, who, considering her ties and partnership to MY Thieves Guild, and her supposed but false claims to have sway in MY Dark Brotherhood, I'm more than certain I could keep her in line. I'd create a more standard military uniform and leave the old stormcloak atire to the guards of Eastmarch, and reinstate the uniforms of the guards of Whiterun, Markarth, Morthal, Falkreath, and Solitude. For military uniforms, I'm thinking perhaps steel plate and scale armor, with the nice old symbol for Dovahkiin on a tabard overlay. I'd order immediate improvements to the Grey Quarter in Windhelm, open the doors of Skyrim's cities to Khajits, and open military recruitment to all races, and, of course, demand an oath of allegience to ME. Not the Jarls. ME. I'd also immediately send out peace feelers to the Empire, and given my rather respectible set of achievements would probably achieve some form of ceasfire or armistice or even a non-aggression pact. An open alliance would be more long term, as time must pass for old wounds to heal, and rushing these things can do more harm than good. I would bring back Talos worship, and order the internment of all Thalmor operatives, officials, and soldiers in Skyrim. Perhaps I would keep them in an internment camp but treat them hospitably. Perhaps I'll organize death camps and process them. Who knows? I'm unpredictable like that. With the defeat of Alduin, I too would sit Esbern and Delphine down and explain things to them. I highly doubt the conversation would ever come to blows. Perhaps stubborn and bitter disagreement, but there's no chance they would try to harm me after everything I've done, and given the oaths they swore. I would expand Blades membership and extend invitations to all the companions I met in my travels. Like the new Kingdom of Skyrim military, they would swear an oath of loyalty to me and me alone. I'd use Solitude's key harbor to extend trade to Hammerfell and also construct my Skyrim Navy. I would welcome Altmer and Bosmer immigrants to Skyrim, but put them through a thorough screening process to ensure none are Thalmor agents. To fund all this after a civil war, I would be forced to institute a small Kingdom tax, payable by all citizens of Skyrim, in addition to a small levy on the Jarls personally. (this tax idea is optional depending on how desperately it is needed) Most importantly, i would establish a council, with representatives of each of the nine holds appointed by joint agreement of me and the respective Jarl (for example, Balgruuf and I have to agree on the candidate). Last but certainly not least, I would become a vampire, and thus immortal, to ensure no successor be corrupted, no replacement indifferent, no son or daughter enacting policies against my design. I would serve. No one would stand in my way. No one would reshape my vision of my kingdom. I would rule. Indefinitely.

You forget to take safety measures because you need to sleep during the day. and have all the weaknesses of a vampire...

Has anyone ever called Odahviing into battle during one of those civil war quests? Can you imagine the potential for a world conquering Dovahkiin with an airborne siege machine(s) at their disposal?
