after killing the dragon at Bonestrewn Cave , i cant get the dragon soul as the dragon does not burst into flames like they usually do.anyone had this happen to them

Had you cleared that area before? There's a bug where dragon respawns don't properly give souls.

nope not been there, i have it as a quest from the guy in windhelm

Sometimes you will aggro the dragon from one of these locations without visiting the location - I managed to do this by hanging around Steamcrag Camp... the dragon from the nearby mount came and attacked me.

I've had this happen to me a couple of times. Once I was definitely re-visiting a location where I had previously killed a dragon, not sure of the circumstances the second time, but it does sound like the "respawn" bug......

I gave up trying to figure out why it happens sometimes.

Plus, after getting all shouts I have something like 96 dragon souls left (last time I looked, probably more now.)


I'm on the xbox360 and am around level 68 without ever taking advantage of bugs/exploits like the ougrima whatsit thing. So, for quite some time, I have been having\

dragons perpetually fall from the sky (often in pairs) to assault me. It was like that for around 20 levels of play, then now I hardly ever see a dragon.

this happens rather often but worry not, dragon souls are almost as plentiful as sweetrolls after a certain level.
