Alduin first or civil war?

I was wondering which war should actually come first? The civil war or Aludin?

I would suggest Alduin. The dragons really piss me off, although they're an excellent addition to this TES game, they get in the way of my primary objective sometimes. That being said, if you don't want as many dragon attacks when doing the civil war, I suggest Alduins quest line. The more dragon hideouts you destroy, the less you see. Same with completing the quest line. There STILL WILL BE DRAGONS THOUGH. Just not as many.

I did the Civil War first, but Alduin first might be cooler because I think
Spoiler
you get a dragon follower at the end. People have mentioned something about using a dragon follower in the civil war fort/city fights and I assume you get the dragon follower at the end of the Alduin quest line.

i started the civil war quest.. like did 1 task for storm cloaks and 1 for imperial but didnt take the oath for either side yet.
then i decided to do the alduin one and that bugged things up a bit.

Yeah hes a funny one. I still laugh when I had him captured, and the wizard of whiterun came to ask him to become a test subject, then proceed to go behind him and he was like saying WTF and then fired away after taking some blood and pulling out some scales if I remember correctly. As a bleach fan the wizard of whiterun reminds me a lot like Kurosuchi Mayuri.

If you finish Alduin first, you get to conquer forts with the help of Odahviing, which could probably be pretty cool. If you finish the war first, you get to see your opponents from the Civil War in Sovengarde. As long as you haven't beaten the Civil War before doing the capture of Odahviing in Whiterun, you'll go through Season Unending quest with the temporary peace treaty scene.

Up to you, but I never saw the peace treaty scene on my first game so I'm gonna at least wait for that before completing the Civil War. I didn't get to see my opponents in Sovengarde either, or Torryg, I hadn't known they were there and must have gone right past them.
