MQ stuck in.... (spoiler)

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 9:05 am

I'm stuck in the timewound, after I read the Elder Scroll, 1st person runs by and that's it.

I have went back to previous saves, I have saved right before Paartunax starts talking and then went at the timewound from different directions and at different points. On previous saves I went all the way back to leaving Blackreach with the scroll. Tried walking up instead of fast traveling. I un-installed and re-installed the game.

I've tried when I first turned on the X-box, deleted all but 6 save points, I'd do more but I wanted to be able to go back further if I needed to.

Is this something that maybe one of the patch's will fix? ( and I gotta figure out how to download those )

Or do I just need to start a new Char and hope that it works for them? ( I actually do have another char but had/have no intention of doing the main quest with her, she's under another x-box username so the saves are different )

I did get past this with another Char, but had a different issue and deleted. ( she was stuck as 1/2 a werewolf )

This worked for me, it may not work for you.

Once you get to the time wound and get the whole spiel, fast travel somewhere else, say windhelm. Wait there 72 hours and go back to the time wound and try again.

Just to be clear, when standing in the timewound, you opened your inventory and clicked on the "Elder Scroll"?

Did you get the cutscene? You only get it once, you can't replay it (well, going back to previous saves should have let you replay it in that case, because then it's like you'd never done it yet).

Yes, standing in timewound, click Elder Scroll,, cut scene starts, 1 person runs by... and that's were it "freezes" so to speak, even though their are dragons flying in the background, the glyphs keep doing their thing... but it won't go forward from their.
